Cara Abraham, BSc (Hons) MBACP (Accred)

As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), I bring extensive clinical experience in providing psychological support across educational, community and organisational settings.

My professional experience includes working with senior executives, business leaders and professionals navigating complex personal, emotional and relational challenges. I understand that professional achievement often exists alongside significant personal pressures, and that the ability to manage responsibility does not necessarily make life's difficulties easier to navigate.

My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of established psychological perspectives to offer therapy that is thoughtful, collaborative and responsive to individual needs. I bring clinical insight, professional discretion and an appreciation of the complexity of human experience to my work.

As a Black woman, I also bring an awareness of how cultural identity, social expectations and lived experience can shape psychological wellbeing, without assuming that these factors define any individual's concerns.

I believe effective therapy offers more than an opportunity to talk. It creates space for meaningful reflection, deeper understanding and the exploration of perspectives that can support lasting personal change.
